All the phrases in this e-book are very clearly explained and they seem quite common in use. From everyday slangs until those vulgar Korean language. The title of the e-book is "Dirty Korean". Let's learn to sing "Happy birthday" in Korean language
You probably want to sing a birthday song for your Korean friend. Or perhaps you may want to sing it for someone who loves Korean and want to make him/her feel so touched. Well, it's not difficult to sing "Happy birthday" in Korean. Just follow this song and you'll be able to sing it. "Saengil Chukha Hamnida" is the Korean phrase for "Happy birthday to you".
DIPHTHONGS (complex + compound vowels) with MINI DRAMA!
Here's another video tutorial on Korean about Diphthongs. As we know that a Diphthongs is a sound created by the combination of vowels. Like in many other languages, there are also diphthongs in Korean. Diphthongs are also called as complex vowels or compound vowels. You may download the worksheet from Professor Oh again here about diphthongs. Then try to write them as you have done in previous Korean worksheet on my previous posts.

DOUBLE CONSONANTS (and some words)
On this video, Professor Oh is going to teach Double Consonants and some Korean words. Actually, you are going to hear some basic conversation related to the words made by the consonants. Pay attention to the conversation. The funny thing is that Professor Oh plays the roles of two people at the same time in the conversation. You'll learn new Korean words like: "busy", "cheap", "salty" and "stingy".
Learn to write Korean alphabet (basic consonants + vowels)
Learning Korean is a fun thing to me. After watching the previous video on pronouncing the alphabet, let's learn how to write the Basic Consonants and Vowels. In writing Korean alphabet, we usually write lines and circle. The vowel in consonant does not stand alone, but usually start with a circle.
We also write rectangle in the consonants. I feel that writing an alphabet in Korean is rather different from writing a Chinese character. When writing the same line, we probably go for different direction. That's what I feel, though. Korean alphabet also makes me feel like writing ASCII characters with lines of different shapes. There are also diagonal lines in the writing consonant. Although, it may seem difficult to learn at first, but I do think that it's made easy with the tutorial from Professor Oh.

Pronounce the Korean Alphabets
Korean Alphabet is different from English language. Although, they have similar way in pronunciation, they do differ in writing. If you have ever learnt Japanese, you may find that Korean is also a language with lines, curves and circles. But it's just really different from Japanese or even Chinese. I think learning to write Chinese is harder.
Korean language has 3 categories when talking about the alphabets. The Korean alphabet has:
14 consonants
10 main vowels
11 complex vowels
Don't think too far about the alphabet. The easiest way to learn a new language is to listen and repeat after the tutorial. This tutorial will give you a brief introduction to the consonant followed by the "a" vowel. Listen carefully as "Professor Oh" pronounce in Korean.

Why I created this "Korean Free Lessons" blog?
Hello everybody, this is a new blog on learning Korean online for free. This blog is intended for those English literate people who love Korean language and want learn Korean in a fun and easy way. Telling you the truth, I am not an expert in Korean language. But I have an interest in learning new language. Most of the learning materials here are videos, because I believe learning a new language through videos is easier and more fun than reading text alone.
You can also say that this blog is just a collection of Korean tutorial videos for people who understand English. Whenever I found an interesting video about learning Korean, I will post on this blog. Hopefully, all of us will be able to speak Korean very soon. Of course, if possible all of us who are interested in Korean will be able to write in Korean. I believe that by watching the videos and learning daily, all of us will master Korean very soon.
I'm also very sorry if I can't put the lessons in a sequential order. This is because I will post everything I found useful and easy to learn for everyone especially those who are beginners to Korean language. Day by day, after I have mastered basic Korean language, I will certainly post more intermediate lessons.
