This song has also been translated into many languages. As far as I have seen, there are English, Chinese, Japanese and even Korean.

Jim Carrey speaks Korean

It's sometimes good when you learn a language from a movie or drama. You don't really have to learn a language completely formally just to be able to speak that language. Learning Korean from movies or dramas can also be very fun when you try to understand and at the same time you enjoy the story. It's especially enjoyable when you are watching a comedy.

I really find it useful if I post some movies whether comedies or types of movies for learning Korean. It does helps us in learning Korean, especially when the movies come with English subtitles which make you understand the language better.

Well, let's start with Jim Carrey's comedy movie entitled "YES MAN" (2008). It's not a Korean movie, still in English, but you can see that Jim Carrey speaks a lot of Korean in the movie. This movie will have scene where Jim Carrey goes to learn Korean language.

Below are two scene videos of "YES MAN" by Jim Carrey. One is the interview for him about learning Korean. And another is the scene where Jim Carrey speaks Korean in this comedy.

DIPHTHONGS (complex + compound vowels) with MINI DRAMA!

Here's another video tutorial on Korean about Diphthongs. As we know that a Diphthongs is a sound created by the combination of vowels. Like in many other languages, there are also diphthongs in Korean. Diphthongs are also called as complex vowels or compound vowels. You may download the worksheet from Professor Oh again here about diphthongs. Then try to write them as you have done in previous Korean worksheet on my previous posts.

The diphthongs are explained one by one, sometimes a short Korean dialog will come up after the diphthongs explanations. At the end of this lesson, you will also see a short conversation and also a short commercial film. Listen carefully to the sentences that contain Korean diphthongs.
